Dear Valued Patient,

I would like to thank you for your trust, loyalty, confidence and friendship throughout my thirty six years career in dentistry. I have been fortunate enough to thoroughly enjoy my professional career and so, it is with mixed emotions that I now formally announce that I have sold my practice. 

I have many special memories which will always be dear to my heart. I have learnt many things from you as we have discussed the more interesting things life presents, including food, gardening, the economy and of course, my beloved Ziggy.

I have had the privilege of treating three generations in some families and that only shows how much older I am than when I first started out! It is also a reflection of the enduring relationships I have built and continue to treasure.

I think the time has come to pass on the reins to another and to turn my attention to family, rest and recreation. I am really enjoying being a grandfather and love spending time with Benjamin. He is growing far too quickly and I want, very much, to be a part of his early years.

It took some time for me to formally announce the sale of the practice as I wanted to ensure that you would receive the best possible care. I had a number of candidates who were interested in assuming my practice. I finally selected Dr Alex Sebastian to continue the good will of the practice.

Alex is the principal at his own family practice in Narrabri, where he runs a busy, progressive and successful practice. He has an excellent reputation and is caring, empathetic and highly committed to providing exceptional quality care for all his patients in the many facets of dentistry.

Alex is a great communicator and since starting at the practice, many patients have warmed to him and are impressed by him. The practice continues to grow as he is expanding the number of days and hours, hence making it easier to schedule appointments for you.

Going forward, I plan to maintain a presence at the practice on a part time basis, currently Mondays to Wednesdays, working closely with Alex and helping him get to know your specific oral health care needs. This will ensure an eventual seamless transition. Please feel free to contact me during surgery hours over any queries you may have. As always, I will avail myself.

Dee, Mabel and Emily, our dependable and loyal staff are staying on with Alex. They will continue to assist you with your enquires. The surgery location remains the same, as does the telephone number.

I am confident you will be cared for and pleased with Alex and I hope you will extend him the same courtesy and loyalty you have afforded me over the years as he is passionate about what he does and will give his utmost best at all times.

Once again, together with my wife, Monica, we thank you again for your long- standing support. We look forward to the next chapter of life and wish you all the very best.
